MSc CEID students are required to complete 120 credits worth of taught courses before their dissertation. Courses can be distributed with full-time students taking 50 or 70 credits in the first semester with the remainder of their taught courses (50 or 70 credits) in the second semester.
Students will automatically be enrolled in compulsory courses for the programme. This includes 50 credits worth of compulsory courses for the first semester and 10 credits worth of compulsory courses for the second semester.
Complete the course choice form
All students must complete the course choice form, identifying the option courses they want to take in semester one and semester two.
The course choice form is due by 12:00 BST on 4 September.
Reviewing your course options
As some courses may have limited capacity, if choosing to take an option course for semester one please identify both your preferred choice and a secondary choice. In making your course choice you are encouraged to review all option courses available in the MSc CEID using the Degree Programme Table and consider your preferred pace of study (limiting yourself to 50 credits first semester may help you better ease into your studies but you will be finishing more credits - 70 during the second semester - as you transition to your dissertation).
To assist in your selection, you are encouraged to refer to this course choice planning document:
