This course provides all students an introduction to the essentials of group management, the strategies and techniques for effective navigation and an introduction to learning and teaching outdoors. Image The course is based in Edinburgh and delivered over two days, utilising local public transport or mini-bus to venues in the Lothians. Over two days the students will learn, then practice, the basic skills of navigation on paths and the open hills. The course follows the syllabus of the National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS).
