This page contains information for students starting at the University of Edinburgh in September 2024.
Your Programme Director
It won’t be long until you arrive in Edinburgh and begin your postgraduate studies with us, and we are looking forward to welcoming you!
On these pages, you will find useful information aimed at helping to make your start in Edinburgh and at the University as smooth as possible. Please take a careful look at these materials - with particular interest to the Key Dates section as our teaching begins earlier than other University Masters-level teaching, and the 'Pre-arrival: Preparing for your studies' section which has a list of equipment you may wish to purchase before leaving home.
If you have a conditional offer, please remember to upload your required documents as soon as they become available. If your plans have changed and you are not going to be studying with us this autumn, please let Admissions know (futurestudents@ed.ac.uk). This is very important for our planning for the coming year and may affect other prospective students being able to take a place.
If you have any general questions, please send them to OEE.Programmes@ed.ac.uk. The staff team and I look forward to meeting you in September!
Gavin Mackenzie
Programme Director, Outdoor Education and Outdoor Environmental & Sustainability Education
