Royal Society of Edinburgh Workshop: Inclusivity in international partnerships

You are warmly invited to this hybrid interactive workshop exploring how researchers across disciplines and higher education stakeholders are advancing inclusivity in international partnerships, taking place at the Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) and online.

Guided by Fakunle’s (2024) Centrality framework, grounded in a decolonial approach, we will examine how the ARC model of Active involvement, Recognition, and Contribution can help identify and dismantle barriers to equitable collaboration. Together, we will reflect on practical ways to map and apply these principles, empowering funders, researchers, research support staff, and institutions to embed inclusivity at the heart of internationalisation.

Please fill in the form to register by 5 January 2026. We will be in touch closer to the date with the agenda.

For any questions, please email Eva-Maria Schnelten (RSE International Officer) at eschnelten@therse.org.uk.
