Pathway structure and selecting courses

Find details on the structure of the MSc Education and all pathways. Choose option courses by 2 September. Find out how to apply to switch to a different pathway by completing the form.

Before commencing your studies, you must select which option courses you would like to take in the 2026-27 academic year. You will select your option courses for Semester 1 and Semester 2 using the form for your pathway below.

Some specialist pathways have priority places on courses that are available as options for others, so it may be worthwhile to apply to switch to a specialist pathway if you come with a strong preference in a particular specialist area.
